Half of compliance professionals earn between £40,000 to £60,000. Those in the highest earnings bands will be heads of function in larger firms.
For compliance professionals Profit Share and Discretionary are clearly the leading methods of allocating bonus.
91% of Compliance Professionals are over 40 – this is higher than we might expect. It’s partly due to those moving into compliance from administration or other roles.
Some will have non FS or other legal qualifications – reflected in the N/A column.
This shows a straight progression as earnings rise to match level of qualification.
The gender pay gap for Compliance Professionals is also substantial at 33.8%. Once again this is a larger gap than recorded in previous years.
